With a wealth of PR talent in the central Virginia region, the Virginia Public Relations Awards celebrate that talent with an program that recognizes winners in several tactical and strategic entry categories.

In 2008, the award programs' slogan is "Let's Get Connected," in a nod to social media and all that it entails.

And speaking of social media, this blog is your peek behind the scenes as the 2008 Awards Committee plans this not-to-be-missed event.

Successful experiment!

Yesterday's Webinar--the first-ever offered by our chapter--was a bit of an experiment. I'm happy to say that it went well! Sixteen people attended, and the feedback so far has been very positive.

This is a great tool for sharing information, and I hope we can use Webinars in the future for a variety of topics.
